I started researching Washington and its corruption almost 3 years ago. I used to be an insider I thought I knew everything that was going on. I was dead wrong.

The super PACs have bypassed all federal rules governing disclosure of the donors.
The good news is, there is hope in the last 13 or 14 months, millions and millions of Americans have woken up.
They have defeated legislation that would have rewarded the big-money destroyers.
I believe that there is probably 50% of our elected officials are disgusted with this system as we are.
We need to create a path for them to abandon the influence of the big-money destroyers.
You will learn how and why they did it, and how to reprogram ourselves. So that they’ll no longer be able to deceive us

I found the book well written and interesting.Example, the comment about the Bible was right on, but the follow up, "Or maybe there just using it to keep us polarized." Was in it self polarizing, just my thoughts.
There were no citations to back up many of his claims, this I found lacking.
I found the book made me think, and had me investigating what was written. If that was its intention, it succeeded.
I would recommend this to people looking for a particular agenda, but keep an open mind.

I write horror stories about vampires, werewolves, and deranged psychopathic maniacs. Sometimes late at night, if I'm in my house alone, and I hear strange noises in the cellar, I may have a momentary tremor of fear. But, I have never encountered horror as scary as what I read in Ron Mahon's "American Politics In Decline."
Ron's book challenges all the beliefs most American's hold dear and comes at a time right before the Presidential Election.
Here are a few of the shocking statements that struck a twinge of foreboding in my heart like walking down a lonely road when the wolf bane blooms and the moon is full
The current rating of Congress is at an all time low at 9%. Only a tenth of Americans trust the government to make sound decisions in their behalf compared to 23% a year ago.
More than 50% of all Americans had a job in 1950. In 2011, only 29% could find one.
Children graduating from college will not have it as good as the graduates before them and will find it difficult to find a job after amassing significant college loans.
We have the most expensive health care system in the world, but it is rated only 25% compared to the rest of the world.
Since the beginning of 2009, the average price of a gallon of gasoline has increased more than 90%.
Since 2001, 56,000 manufacturing facilities in the US have been shut down. Manufacturing jobs have fallen from 20% in 2000 to 5% today.
The list goes on and on painting a very bleak picture of Americas rapid decline. Ron cites the reasons why this has evolved and what will happen if we don't do something about it.
In his view, Big Money controls both Republicans and Democrats. As long as both parties are polarized and fixed on their own self -interests, the do nothing Congress will rarely pass any significant legislation. The emotional attachment to one party or the other and not to the policies themselves is destroying our country.
I was about get out the razor blades and slit my wrists when Ron provided ways the American people can restore our country to greatness again. As you may have guessed, it all starts at the polls. You can make a difference. VOTE.
