I could not put this book down. From the first page to the last I was drawn in. This was one wild ride with so many twists and turns, that we never get a chance to catch our breath.Jagger picks up right where Junkie left off. Miri is gone and Boss is determined to get her back, at any cost. The woman who stole his heart when he least expects it, when he never expected to love again.
I loved the different side we saw of Miri in this book. In Junkie she was weak and almost destroyed by what she has had to endure, however, in Jagger, we get to see her become, or maybe she always was, but was lost for a bit, the strong woman she wanted to be. We saw her strength and determination grow, even when others would have been broken.
Jagger on the other hand, truly embodied Boss to get back what is his and exact revenge. Though Boss thought Jagger long dead, Miri slowly brought him back to life, but now she needed Boss and he was up for the job, even if it was the last thing he did. Through the first half of the book, we saw how determined and furious Boss was but we also begin to see what Miri meant to him and how much she affected his life and future.
Both Jagger and Miri were hopeful to find each other again, but hopeless that it would happen with each passing day. Surrounded by deceit, pain and loss, neither knew who they could truly trust or where to turn. Both of them were so broken and lost, that is seemed there was no redemption for them. However, once they found each other, they were exactly what they needed for each other.
This story flowed quickly, was very intense and the emotions were all over the place. This book was much darker than Junkie. We delve into the dark world of criminals, sex and drugs. It is not an easy journey to travel but I am a big fan of dark stories and Jagger did not disappoint. There is so much I want to share, but this is a story that needs to be experienced and not spoiled, but it is so worth it.
This duet is a must read, especially for those who loved dark romances. There are some part that are very hard to read, but the journey is truly that of two lost, broken people who find what they need with each other.

I loved this duet. I was engrossed in it from the beginning and was not disappointed in the least.
What a great ending to an amazing story , I was on pins and needles ! Poor Miri she endured a lot and Jag never gave up his search for her ! I didn’t want the story to end I loved reading about them this was such a great series !
So, Jagger starts off exactly where Junkie finished and it was worth me staying up until 1 am. Jag & Miri were written so well and so was their story. If you like dark and twisted romance (and yes they get an HEA) this is the book for you, but don't forget to read Junkie 1st. Thank you Heather for writing such a good story and I can't wait to read more.

Really enjoyed this story....I can relate on so many levels. Unfortunately the truth that I recognized is that most people do judge junkies in the
Real world to be whores and will do anything for that next fix. Wish it was a happily ever after for those still lost out there. This story really hits my softer spots and gratefully i did get my ever after. Thank you for a wonderful story
Im a recovering addict(9 yrs clean from heroin), and I loved this book. It made me laugh, cry, and fully get feels for Boss/Jag and Miri. I wish there was a book 3. The withdrawl scenes were true but I know Miri would have went through a lot more when she was being blind detoxed, however Mrs Leigh does an excellent job, showing the levels of depravity addicts go through, self imposed and inflicted by others. Thank you Heather C Leigh for showing that there can be life after addiction. Even if we do struggle for the rest of our lives, we can still live productive lives. I will be reading everything else you wrote...Thank you
Just like the first book, this one kept my attention all the way through it. Wow! Just wow!! Drug lords everywhere! This book brought out so many different emotions in me. It grabbed ahold of me... and didn't let go. The characters were all portrayed true to life. You can imagine yourself right there mixed in all the emotional turmoil that goes on. I wanted to be right there helping rescue Miri from the hell she had to endure. And Miri finally comes across her long lost friend, Cat. Jag plays a very dangerous drug lord, but what he wouldn't do for his "Doll". There's so much that happens in this book. It had me on the edge of my seat, just holding my breath to see what was going to happen next. There's never a dull moment in this book.
Jagger is book 2 and the conclusion of Jagger's and Miri's story. You need to read Junkie first before reading this one or you'll be lost.
It starts off with Miri being held captive and Jagger going out of his mind trying to figure out who has her. He might be a ruthless killer, but when it comes to his doll, the man is a possessive sweetheart who will do anything necessary to get Miri back and make her safe. Miri is not treated kindly by her captors. We discover who the traitor is and I was proud of myself at guessing their identity before it was revealed. The story is loaded with more action while at the same time giving us the romance we love.
I'm always a fan of the dark and dangerous heroes. And when they fall in love, I'm their biggest fan pulling for a happy ending. Jagger was no different. I liked him from the very beginning and by the end of the series, I was completely in love with him. Miri is a great heroine. She's been through so much in her life, beaten by her mother, addicted to heroin, kidnapped and abused. These two could not have met anyone more perfect.
Overall, I thought this was a great story. It's told from dual POVs and kept my attention through both books.
